Love another day, by Lexi Blake

Love another day, by Lexi Blake

Might not know who I was, but I know who I want to be.
Pag 261

"You can't fix someone. That's not what love does. Love can make a person want to fix himself. That's the key". He frowned at his wife. "I said love. I want to vomit."
She smiled up brilliantly at him. "You go ahead, babe. I know how hard that is for  you. But you're right. You couldn't force me to walk into the light. I lived in darkness, but when I met  you, I wanted that light. I wanted you so badly I had to fix my world to have you".
P 251

I have been told I should sometimes let karma handle things.
P 261

Sometimes the universe deals us shitty cards and how we  handle it is how we'll be judged.
P 264

She'd survived. She might have made  a lot of mistakes along the way, but she'd survived and come through the other side.
She'd become a woman who thought of others first, who put kindness above self-interest. Who sacrificed herself.
Who needed to let a man love her so all those good things she did didn't mean she gave  up a life  of happiness.

Lexi Blake, Revenge

...he couldn't die  now that he'd finally figured  out what it truly meant to  live. It meant choosing to look past his own pain to  something that might heal him. Someone.

Best revenge I had. Loving you.

He'd held it all  in because he thought he had to  be strong around his siblings. Because this softness, his fear and doubt and pain, they were hers. Because she was his safe place, the one person  he would let  go with.

It wasn't merely taking out his enemies that made  him strong. Being better than them was the best revenge of all.
He'd finally fugured out that he was worth saving, too.

The last wish

Did anyone ever  wish they'd loved less? Did anyone come face-to-face with a gun and think I wish I'd hated a little more?
God, he wished he'd said the words to her. He hadn't even said the words to her.
I love you.

Master No, di Lexi Blake

Master No (Masters and Mercenaries, #9)Master No by Lexi Blake
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

For Tennessee, nothing more perfect than a saint, Mother-Theresa-like woman, full of kindness and totally different from him. So perfect, Mrs Blake.
I have loved them from starting to the end.
A big big thank you!

A dom is forever, di Lexi Blake

A Dom is Forever (Masters and Mercenaries, #3)A Dom is Forever by Lexi Blake
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a beautiful surprise!
After the previous book in this serie, that I haven't loved so much, I didn't expect that this story could be so funny, sweet, rich in action, humor, passion, self-deepness and commotion too!
Two beautiful characters, perfect settings, intense love-story, credible bad-men, credible and ultrasexy bed-man, sweet, strong and lovable heroine and the extra-bonus, something of Ian's past. Also Adam and Jake are smart and hilarious in this book!
THANK YOU SO MUCH Lexi Blake!

Yes, the titles of this serie are mocking James Bond's films: The dom who loved me, The men with the golden cuffs and this, A dom is forever. I like Lexi Blake self-humor!
