"Ah, I see". His knowing look said he had the whole thing figured out.
"Are you jumping to conclusions again? Because you'll end up apologizing twice in one day."
He laughed. "Why do all mothers have that particular look and tone mastered?"
"What tone?" she asked haughtily.
"That tone. Can I ask one more question?"
"I don't know. You're starting to irritate me again."
For some reason, that seemed to please him. "Then I'll make sure it's a good one." He waited for her nod of approval before he said, "Will you have dinner with me?"

Don't cheat yourself out of legitimate feelings. If you feel mad, be mad. If you feel sad, be sad. There's only one way to the other side of this, and that's straight through it. Denying any of your feelings will only make the journey longer.

This month is really lucky for me in romance reading, this is the third 5-stars-book that I read! More 4,5 stars, but the improvement from the last two books of the serie is so great that I prefer 5 incredibly-involving stars!
In this last book in the Gansett Island serie, we see the interaction between hot Alex and dear Jenny. It's a tender and sexy story, with funny moments and precious words, with deep insights and sad memories, a lot of hope and strength and force and courage. And less whining and man confidence than in the previous (finally!). And less characters and sub-plots (finally!). And less Tiffany and Caroline (finally!). And less children (no, it's a joke, more than ever!). Recommended!

"Maid for love" is a lovely book, a relaxing and amusing read, with beautiful setting, strong and vivid characters, smart and natural dialogues. The heroine, Maddie, is a single mother and this is a very important thing for me. She is bitter sometimes to Mac (the hero), but it's understandable due to her past. There are a lot of funny dialogues between the two of them. Plus she works in a hotel and Mac for some days goes to do her work: exhilarating!
All the characters are interesting and they will feature in the next books too, so if you love series this is for you.
Vividly recommended!

If you are italian, but you have read my post without problems, I think you can afford to try reading this book in english. It's a beautiful adventure (this story and the english reading too). Have happy time!
